Kelly Phillips set her school record in the pole vault (4.26m/13-11.75) on her third and final attempt . . . then raised the bar to the NCAA automatic qualifying mark of 4.30m/14-1.25 and cleared it on her second attempt. That clearance makes her the second woman vaulter in the ACC to hit the qualifying mark this season, and only the seventh in the nation.
